Once upon a time there was a continent called Mu. Residents of this continent were gentle and wise. They respected nature and benefited from what she offered. She offered them substantial food, provided them shelter to live safely, knowledge to get wiser and magic to thrive their community.

For hundreds of years, they lived in peace and got wiser, but one day a priest, a Naacal had a prediction. It was not a daily prediction, it was a call for the ones who can bear the change. So Naacal started to write a tabloid to make his announcement. He also told his companions about the future that awaits them.

There were a lot of sacred places on the continent they lived. Some temples they built and some creatures which were the offers of mother nature. Naacals often visit these places to rest, learn and listen. By means of this, they had visions of the future and supported their society.

This time, the future was bringing them destruction and challenge. Unfortunately, so few of them will survive this collapse. Also, the future of humanity was depending on them. Their knowledge and civilisation would be a milestone for history. There were other societies who were living far away but not civilized enough. They needed guidance and a chance to live better. This was their misson. It was also the only way out!

Naacals told the Mu residents about the prediction. They wanted to give people a chance to choose. Some people were wise enough to understand the end and some got frustrated. On the evening of this news, people started to leave the continent and left everything behind.

Presia’s family was one of them. Presia was only 16 and her brother was 6 years old. Their father was a botanical healer. He also knew how to use nature for magic. He raised his children after him. That was why Presia knew about the sacred tree which was far away in the mountains. With her father, they visited the tree whenever they went to herbarize. It was an ancient and beautiful creature.

Her mother was a decent woman who was an agriculturist but she was the one who taught them how to pray and understand the Naacal culture.

After the news, Presia asked her father if they were also leaving their homeland where they belonged. The answer was clear; her mother and he would be staying to wait for their home, but her brother and she had to leave with the priests. There were no other options.

Presia was brave and strong enough to brace all the change that was coming, but the night before the migration ships left she had a dream. A dream which is shown by the sacred tree. It was a calling for her, offering her something and, as her father always said, no matter how smart we believe we were nature knew the best. So early in the morning she hit the road for the sacred tree.

In the evening she reached it. It was a rough and steep way to the mountains. Patience was an important virtue.

The tree was glowing in a way she had never seen before. So she kneeled to listen, to feel and understand. It was a calling for her. She could feel the relief in her heart while praying.

Finally, she let it in and let the light lead her up… The tree was showing her a bird!

As their society believed, birds were sacred creatures which were connected to the one and only divine god. They represented the power of god on earth. They created the universe with only an egg which turns into a living creature.

So Presia was convinced to connect with the tree. She got closer to the shimmering hole in the middle of it. She was trembling with anxiety, but it was also very welcoming and peaceful.

The tree offered her freedom once more. So she accepted and let her arms turn into strong wings which could fly her far away from the continent. She accepted the soul and the wisdom offered by the ancient tree. After she flied away, the tree locked itself forever and ended its calling. So the continent collapsed and vanished into history.
